Meat Loaf

Bernice Berntsen Pierson

2 pounds ground beef

1/4 c. ketchup

2 slices bread, made into crumbs

1 egg

2 T. milk

1 tsp. salt

1/2 pepper

1 T. ground sage


Mix meat with breadcrumbs, and add all other ingredients. Mix well. Put into a well-greased bread pan. Put a generous amount of ketchup on top, bake at 350 degrees for at least 1 ½ hours. Spoon off the drippings in bottom of pan as it cooks.
