Gingersnaps (soft)


Jacquelynn Sokol, from the kitchen of Joyce Jenkins.


3/4 c. margarine

1 c. sugar

1/4 c. molasses

1 egg

2 c. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. cloves

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ginger


After mixing the butter and sugar, mix together all other ingredients. Form into balls. Bake on slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.
