Cream Cheese Fudge Bars

1/2 c. melted margarine or butter

3 T. cocoa

1 c. sugar

1 c. flour

1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts

1 tsp. baking powder

1 tsp. vanilla

2 eggs

1/2 tsp. salt


Mix and spread in a 9X13" pan.

Blend until fluffy:


1- 8 oz. package cream cheese

1/2 c. sugar

2 T. flour

1/4 c. margarine, softened

1 egg

1/2 tsp. vanilla


Spread over chocolate batter. Mix 1/4 cup chopped nuts and 6 oz. chocolate chips. Sprinkle over cream cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. Cool.

Frost with the following: 1/2 c. margarine

3 T. cocoa

1/4 c. mild

3 c. powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla
