Christmas Caramels

Easy; soft, creamy, and yummy. We always made them when the kids were little.

1 c. butter

1 c. brown sugar

1 c. sugar

1 c. white corn syrup

1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk

Dash salt

Combine ingredients in heavy pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Keep at rolling boil and cook till soft ball forms in cold water (about 15 minutes.) Pour into buttered 9 X 9" pan. Cool completely. Cut into squares and wrap each piece in wax paper.
