Vanilla Ice Cream

6 eggs

3 c. sugar

1 quart cream, whipped softly

2 T. vanilla

1/4 tsp. salt

2 quarts milk


Beat eggs to foam, add sugar gradually, beating until mixture is thick as cake batter. Fold in whipped cream, vanilla, and milk. Freeze in 6 qt. electric ice cream freezer. Makes 20 servings.
