Peppermint Cookies

3/4 c. margarine

1 c. sugar

1 egg

2 c. flour

1/4 c. cocoa

1/2 tsp. soda

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/4 c. milk

1/2 tsp. vanilla


Mix and roll 1" diameter on wax paper. Chill one hour. Cut in 1/3" slices, placing on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for about 10 minutes. Frost.

Frosting:


3 T. margarine

3 T. milk

1½ c. powdered sugar

4 to 5 drops peppermint oil

Red food coloring


Beat all together. Frost one cookie and top with another.
