Dump Cake

1 pkg. yellow cake mix

1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained

1 can (20 oz) cherry pie filling

1 can chopped almonds, pecans, or walnuts

2 T. butter, cut into thin slices (1/2 c.- 1 stick margarine)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13x9 pan. Dump undrained pineapple into pan. Spread evenly. Dump the pie filling and spread evenly. Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer; Spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Cut butter into thin slices and lay on top of nuts and cake mix. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes. Serve warm over vanilla ice cream.
