Pumpkin Bread

This was our neighbor's recipe when we lived in Covina, CA.


3 1/3 c. flour

1 T. soda

1½ tsp. salt

1½ tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. cloves

1 c. oil

4 eggs

2½ c. sugar

2 c. pumpkin

2/3 water

1 c. chopped nuts

1 c. chocolate chips, optional

1 small pkg. of instant French Vanilla Pudding

1½ c. chocolate chips


Blend all together in a large bowl or mix on low in mixer. Pour into greased and floured bread pans, 2 large or 4 small. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
