Peach Ice Cream

4 c. fresh peaches (chopped fine or crushed)

3 c. sugar

Juice of 2 lemons

1 pkg. lemon Jell-O

1 c. hot water

1 pint whipping cream

1 pint milk

1 can evaporated milk


Dissolve Jell-O in hot water. Add sugar, peaches, and lemon juice. Then add cream and milk. Place in ice cream freezer and process. Makes 6 quarts.

To make strawberry ice cream, use 4 packages frozen strawberries and 1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O instead of peaches and lemon Jell-O.
