Mexican Balls


Bernice Berntsen Pierson, she always made them at Christmas.

1/2 c. butter (real butter only)

1/4 c. powdered sugar

1 c. flour

1 c. chopped pecans

1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar in mixer. Add flour. Work in with hands, as it will seem quite dry. Add nuts and vanilla. Roll into balls, then in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll again in powdered sugar until well coated.
